Pierogi a la Carbonara

Ingredients:

  1. 400 g of frozen dumplings with potatoes
  2. 200 g bacon, cut into cubes
  3. 1 onion, thinly sliced ​​into strips
  4. 2 eggs
  5. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  6. 1/2 cup of cream 30%
  7. 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  8. Salt and pepper to taste
  9. Parsley for decoration
  10. 1 tablespoon of butter

Cooking time of the dish - 30-45 minutes

Instruction:

  1. Cook the dumplings according to the instructions on the package. When they are ready, strain them.
  2. Heat the butter in a large pan, add the bacon and fry until crispy.
  3. Add the thinly sliced ​​onion to the bacon and fry until it becomes soft and lightly golden.
  4. Add the chopped garlic to the bacon and onion, fry for a short time until the garlic becomes fragrant.
  5. In a bowl, mix the yolks of 2 eggs, cream and Parmesan. Add salt and pepper to your own taste.
  6. Add the cooked dumplings to the pan with the bacon, onion and garlic. Stir gently so that the dumplings are evenly covered with the sauce.
  7. Pour the egg-cream mixture into the pan with the dumplings. Stir everything for a few minutes over medium heat until the sauce thickens and coats the dumplings.
  8. Check and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve hot, sprinkled with chopped parsley as a decoration.
